The green house helped Jean Claude to increase the tomato harvest

Nizeyimana Jean Claude, a young entrepreneur from Kayonza District.
, Kabare Sector ; he has got remarkable tomato production through the support from the SERVE Project .

He received improved tomato seeds from DUHAMIC-ADRI and now grows them in a greenhouse, he rented for himself. Successfully, Jean Claude has so far harvested 835 kg of tomatoes sold at the local market .
Hopeful to greater success, he is also optimistic about future harvests and expanding his business. Jean Claude is deeply grateful for the support he is receiving and remains dedicated to growing his venture to new heights. Jean Claude currently employs 4 youth as casual workers.
This program is funded by MasterCard Foundation through the partnership of Care International and will focus on building a resilient, sustainable, gender equitable, and inclusive entrepreneurial environment that increases dignified and fulfilling work opportunities for predominantly female young people aged between 18 and 35 years in agricultural value chains in 10 Districts across Rwanda, namely RULINDO, GAKENKE, NYABIHU, RUBAVU, RWAMAGANA, KAYONZA, KIREHE, NGOMA, NYAMAGABE and HUYE.
