A Great Start in Gakenke District
Today, 30 October 2026, marks the official launch of the Youth-Led Climate-Smart Agribusiness and Market Systems for Sustainable Livelihoods Project, to be implemented by DUHAMIC-ADRI with support from Terres des Hommes
Schweizin Gakenke and Rubavu Districts.
The project team was warmly welcomed by Nankunda Jolly, the Executive Secretary of Gakenke District. The project aims at contributing to inclusive economic growth, environmental sustainability, and food security in Rwanda by promoting decent, climate-resilient green jobs for 600 vulnerable youth (300 in Gakenke and 300 in Rubavu)
