Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA) practicesto increase agriculture harvest.

Through the SFERE Project (Sustainable Forestry and Efficient Renewable Energy for Improved Livelihoods), community awareness campaigns are underway in Rubavu and Rutsiro Districts to promote the adoption of Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA) practices.

These campaigns followed the review meeting for SFERE partners held in Musanze to discuss on the project implementation status.

Demonstration plots of maize and beans featuring adapted CSA practices are raising farmers’ hopes for a promising harvest. The SFERE Project is implemented in partnership with the Luxembourg Development Cooperation Agency,
