DUHAMIC-ADRI distributed 78 tones of lime to Gisagara District Farmers

Through the CJC Programme, on 10th February 2026, 78.4 tons of lime were distributed to Gisagara District farmers for the 2026B agricultural season cultivation. The lime will be used on 12ha of newly developed terraces and 40 hectares of surrounding land to boost the soil health and productivity.

Additional 40 tons will be distributed in Ngororero District. CJC Programme is implemented by DUHAMIC-ADRI , in partnership with TROCAIRE, with funds from the Scottish Government SCIAF, and CBM Global Disability Inclusion.
