DUHAMIC-ADRI and IOM trained Village and Amasibo leaders

On Sunday, 31 May 2026, in selected schools across Musanze and Gakenke Districts , DUHAMIC-ADRI and IOM Rwanda organized a training program for Village and Amasibo leaders under the project "Enhancing Adaptation and Mitigation Capacities to Climate Change and Extreme Weather Events in Rwanda."

Through the Community dialogues, the knowledge gained through this training will be cascaded to more than 21,000 community members in differentvillages surrounding schools in both districts.

Members will be equipped with information and practical skills in environmental protection, disaster risk reduction, erosion control, and the promotion of clean energy solutions within their communities.

The project is implemented by DUHAMIC-ADRI in partnership with IOM Rwanda and Rwanda Environment Management Authority REMA.
