Child stunting in Gakenke District has decreased from 39% to 26%

Child stunting in Gakenke District  has decreased from 39% to 26%, according to the Mayor of Gakenke  District, Mukandayisenga Vestine.

She highlighted the contribution of the #KUNGAHARA Project to this achievement during the nutrition campaign held in Kamubuga Sector, bringing together 800 community members and partners to promote good nutrition and healthy practices for young children.

Participants also enjoyed the entertainment performance by the Celebrity Artist Eric Senderi, adding an entertaining touch to the campaign. Kungahara Project is co-funded by the European Union,International Partnerships Austria and Care Austria
