DUHAMIC-ADRI and Care Rwanda inaugurated the Ruzizi Fruits and Vegetables Selling Point in Gicumbi District.

On Tuesday, 28th October 2025 DUHAMIC-ADRI and Care Rwanda  joined Gicumbi District  in Giti Sector to celebrate International Rural Women’s Day 2025. This event was coupled with the inauguration of the Ruzizi Fruits and Vegetables Selling Point, renovated by #Kungahara Project.

The inauguration was blessed by the Vice Mayor of Gicumbi District in charge of Economic Development

The Vice Mayor, Parfaite UWERA , reaffirmed the district’s commitment to foster collaboration and partnership with KUNGAHARA Project and urges KUNGAHARA Project beneficiaries to own, maintain and sustain this infrastructure.

The Kungahara Project is co-funded by European Union , the Austrian Development Agency and Care Austria and it is implemented by DUHAMIC-ADRI in partnership with Care Rwanda.
