KUNGAHARA Organised a nutrition campaign in Gicumbi District

On Tuesday, 11 August 2026, through KUNGAHARA Project, an awareness campaign to combat malnutrition and stunting among children was launched in Muko Sector, in Gicumbi District.

Through this campaign, the participants were educated on how to prepare a balanced and nutritious diet, hygiene and sanitation, child and infants care and through educative questions and answers session, the best performers were awarded the prizes made of vegetable seeds.

The campaign reached 3400 participants who was energized by a professional singer Social Mula who performed different known musics and he inspired the community on balanced diet preparation. The same campaigns wil be organized in Gakenke and Rulindo Districts.
