DUHAMIC-ADRI nad IOM organised a campaign at GS Muhoza

On Thursday, 4th June 2026, at GS Muhoza 1 , DUHAMIC-ADRI and IOM Rwanda and IOM Rwanda organized a campaign on "Enhancing Adaptation and Mitigation Capacities to Climate Change and Extreme Weather Events in Rwanda,"

It brough together students from GS Muhoza 1 and GS Muhoza 2 and attended by staff from IOM Rwanda and Kayiranga Theobald the Vice Moyor in Charge of Social Affairs of Musanze District.

During this event, one member of school environmental club was awarded with a clean cooking gaz cylender, as a result of his initiative of making peletes from school waste.

The project is implemented by DUHAMIC-ADRI in partnership with IOM Rwanda and Rwanda Environment Management Authority REMA, with funding from the Government of Japan.
