DUHAMIC-ADRI hosted the Project Steering Committee meeting

On 13th August 2026, DUHAMIC-ADRI hosted members of the KUNGAHARA Project Steering Committee for a field monitoring visit and project progress review meeting in Gicumbi District.

The committee visited the initiated poultry farming by KUNGAHARA Project Participant, Ruzizi Fruits and Vegetables Selling Point, Nutrition activities around cooking demonstration and home garden initiatives in Giti Sector.

Project participants reaffirmed that the KUNGAHARA Project has contributed to increased agricultural production and strengthened their knowledge on improved farming practices, access to market, preparation and consumption of balanced diet.

They also committed to sustaining the project-supported infrastructure and extend adoption of climate agriculture practices to improve their living conditions. Kungahara Project is co-funded by the European Union ,International Partnerships Austria and Care Austria , and is implemented by Care Rwanda in partnership with DUHAMIC-ADRI.
