DUHAMIC-ADRI Distributed 5 tones of sweet potato cuttings to 180 vulnerable people

On 2nd June 2026, DUHAMIC-ADRI, in partnership with Trocaire  under the Irish Aid-funded INRM Project, supported the distribution of 5.4 tonnes of vitamin A-rich orange-fleshed sweet potato cuttings to 180 vulnerable people in Ntarabana Sector, Rulindo District District.

Donated by previous project participants, the cuttings reflect strong community solidarity and will be multiplied in a marshland provided by the sector to ensure sustainable future supply.

The initiative aims to improve household nutrition and boost incomes through the cultivation of this highly productive and fast-growing crop.
