To enhance the accountability and engage stakeholders in effective implementation of Rwanda Food and Nutrition Security policy; on 15 November 2025, Gicumbi District
 hosted a High-Level District Workshop to discuss and reflect on findings from Community Score Card (CSC) conducted by Kungahara Project. The workshop was chaired by Nzabonimpa Emmanuel ,, the Mayor of Gicumbi District , together with
Parfaite Uwera , the Vice Mayor in Charge of Economic Affairs.
It was attended by various partners involved in child nutrition and food security and district planning Unit. The participants committed to consider identified challenges and barriers in programmes and projects design to address the root causes of malnutrition. Kungahara Project is co-funded by the European Union , Austrian Development Agency and Care Austria and is implemented by Care in Rwanda  in partnership with DUHAMIC-ADRI.
